This European alliance, founded as a not-for-profit organization, will support the PropTech market and will work to scale-up cross-border collaborations, to facilitate access to EU Funding and to establish a regulatory framework for fostering innovations.
Rodrigo García de la Cruz, CEO of Finnovating and Board Member of the PropTech House, highlighted that “the PropTech House will help others to grow by sharing knowledge, experience and network so we can have the first PropTech unicorn in Europe”. He also thanked the attendance of Dirk Paelinck, CEO of Workero, Idriss Goossends, Founder of PropTech Lab, Menno Lammers, Founder of PropTechNL, and Bartosz Dobrowolski, Founder of PropTech Poland. This project also enjoys the support of partners such as Finnova and PropTech South East Europe, while 7 other national associations are in the process of on-boarding now.
During the II PropTech Unconference, Dirk Paelinck, CEO of Workero, announced too the PropTech StartUp Europe Awards 2018 for the European Commission, as “a clear sign of recognition by the European Commission of the importance and the huge potential of the innovative PropTech industry reshaping traditional real estate”. This awards will have 5 subcategories: Invest, Market, Design & Build, Manage & Operate, Live & Work. As there can only be one winner, all the subcategory winners will go head-to-head to determine the overall winner.
